Voices
of Love
Love is eternal.
There are inspired messages,
but they are temporary;
there is knowledge,
but it will pass.

but when what is perfect comes,

We can love with our minds, with our hearts, and with our bodies; and when we love with all of these, we may know the pure Spirit of Love. In Judeo-Christian thought, the greatest of the laws is that we should love God with all our heart, and all our mind, and all our soul. This is a mysterious teaching indeed.
In Voices of love, the author explores this great mystery in all its complexities as well as its simplicity.
Voices of Love is a love story. It is the tale of someone who has been wounded by love, and who wishes to understand it better. It is a series of fictional dialogues (and triologues) with some of the greatest (perhaps the greatest) lovers of all time, both real and mythical, from Eros himself, and Adam and Eve, to Antony and Cleopatra, Romeo and Juliet, and Oscar Wilde and Alfred Douglas, to George Burns and Gracie Allen.

Voices of Love is a drama and a prose poem about the nature of love in its most profound dimensions, both carnal and spiritual.
Voices of Love is a work in progress that is nearly complete. It is the author's attempt to share with readers his understanding of what he has learned about love from his own life; from his readings in history about the world's greatest lovers; and from some of the greatest poetic literature that has been produced about love.
